GCSE Physics

GCSE Physics

Exam Boards Covered: AQA, OCR, Edexcel, Educas

The GCSE Physics course enables pupils to acquire knowledge through facts, concepts and practical techniques surrounding the subject of Physics. Much of this subject is rooted in the study of matter, energy and the interaction between these two phenomena. Physics, like many other subjects, requires pupils to be able to apply knowledge of topics to unfamiliar examples and to contextualise ideas.

There are several different areas of physics that require the analysis of data from practical techniques and the ability to identify and use equipment to support evidence.

This course of study allows for the sound preparation of pupils for their GCSE examinations and for progression into A Level Physics.

Topics that are covered in our GCSE Physics classes include:

Forces and Motion

  • Movement and motion
  • Forces, shape and momentum

Electricity
